Al-Khair Way and BMBU Distribute 35,000 Liters of Clean Water to Gaza Residents

Gaza, December 2024 — The ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza continues to leave civilians struggling to access basic necessities, including clean water. In response, Al-Khair Way Foundation, in collaboration with the Indonesian charitable organization Baitul Maal Barakatul Ummah (BMBU), has launched a clean water relief initiative for affected residents.

The program was implemented in two severely impacted areas in Northern Gaza, Zaitoun and Sabra. In December 2024, a joint team from Al-Khair Way and BMBU successfully delivered five water container trucks to the designated locations.

Each truck carried seven water tanks, with each tank holding 1,000 liters of clean water, resulting in a total distribution of 35,000 liters. The clean water was directly delivered to residents in need, especially families who have lost access to water infrastructure due to ongoing conflict and damage to public services.

This initiative is part of Al-Khair Way Foundation's ongoing commitment to supporting the people of Gaza through practical and targeted humanitarian programs. The collaboration with BMBU reflects the strong solidarity of the Indonesian people with their brothers and sisters in Palestine.

"We extend our sincere gratitude to all donors and volunteers who supported this initiative. We hope this assistance can help ease the burden of Gaza residents and strengthen the spirit of humanitarian solidarity," said a representative of Al-Khair Way Foundation.

Al-Khair Way Foundation remains open to further collaborations and support to expand the reach of aid, not only in the form of clean water, but also food, medical services, and other essential needs.
