The activity was held in the Zaitouna area of Northern Gaza and aimed to provide direct access to healthcare services for residents in need. The process was simple yet effective: residents came to a designated clinic, underwent medical examinations by professional healthcare workers, received treatment according to their diagnosis, and then returned to their homes.
This program successfully reached and benefited around 50 families who had previously struggled to access healthcare due to limited facilities and restricted access in the conflict-affected area.
Medical Day for Gaza is a reflection of the shared commitment between Al-Khair Way and BMBU to deliver not only emergency relief but also vital services such as healthcare. Despite the many limitations, the program is expected to ease the burden of the affected population and help safeguard the health of Gaza residents, particularly the most vulnerable families.
“Health is a fundamental human right. Through this initiative, we aim to ensure that our brothers and sisters in Gaza can continue to receive proper medical care, even amid such difficult circumstances,” said a representative of Al-Khair Way Foundation.
Al-Khair Way and BMBU plan to continue their support through various humanitarian programs that directly address the essential needs of the people in Gaza, including medical services, food distribution, and clean water supply.
